Mumbai's IB Ecosystem
Mumbai has one of India's densest IB Diploma ecosystems, and the pacing differs meaningfully from school to school. Online tuition lets us follow your school's actual sequence of units, assessments and mock weeks rather than a one-size-fits-all syllabus.
At Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) in BKC, DP Maths cohorts move quickly through Functions and Trigonometry in DP1 and reserve the final DP2 stretch for full-length mock papers. Students there usually sit their Internal Assessment checkpoints earlier than many other schools, so IA topic selection and first drafts need to be strong from the start of DP1 rather than the summer before DP2.
Oberoi International School families tend to split between Goregaon and Bandra campuses, and both programmes expect a strong command of calculator-based problem solving in AI and deeper algebraic manipulation in AA. Because Oberoi relies on frequent formative checks, our batches emphasize short weekly problem sets and ongoing error logs rather than term-end cramming.
BD Somani International School in Cuffe Parade serves many South Mumbai families, often coming from IGCSE Extended Maths. The jump from IGCSE to AA SL/HL — particularly proof, binomial expansion and calculus — is the single biggest grade shock we see across the city, so our bridge plan begins in the term before DP1 where possible.
École Mondiale World School in Juhu runs the full PYP–MYP–DP continuum, which means many students arrive in DP without the timed-paper reflexes that IGCSE students develop. For them we rehearse Paper 1 non-calculator technique and time allocation explicitly, because the MYP criteria-style assessment does not fully simulate DP exam pressure.
JBCN International School students across its Mumbai campuses often balance HL Maths with two other HL sciences. That combination makes structured homework discipline (not extra hours) the highest-leverage intervention — our batches assign focused problem sets with a firm weekly cadence so schoolwork stays manageable.
This is why our Mumbai batches are small-group and school-aware: we track which unit your school is teaching this week, mirror its unit-test format, and layer past-paper practice from the official IB questionbank on top. Independent coaching — we are not affiliated with any school.
